Nagpur has a population of around 27 lakh people and uses 700 million litres of freshwater each day. Around 550 MLD of this water is transformed into sewage, highlighting that a large amount of water is wasted. Currently, Nagpur produces around 500 to 525 million litres of wastewater per day, of which 340 million litres are treated.

In an effort to boost Delhi’s green cover and save groundwater, Daiki Axis Johkasou decentralized STPs recycle sewage water that is being utilized for park maintenance.
