For urban areas, meeting excess water demands is a massive challenge. Daiki Axis Johkasou decentralized STP is providing a commercially feasible water resourcing facility to overcome the challenges of water resourcing. The treated wastewater from decentralized STP is so clean, making it fit to be reused for various non-potable activities such as gardening, horticulture, construction etc.
Whereas, wastewater discharged from a soak pit is not clean, due to the lack of primary treatment. So, discharged wastewater cannot be reused. Thus, a soak pit is a suitable choice only if there is no need to reuse wastewater.
